Thank you Ottawa West-Nepean

On March 4, 2010, more than 11,000 voters in Ottawa West-Nepean placed their confidence in me as their representative in the Ontario Legislature.

Thank you. I am honoured by your trust, and very proud to have carried the Progressive Conservative banner on your behalf.

Although we were not able to gain enough votes to win this by-election, together we closed the gap between our PC Ontario Party and the Provincial Liberals from nearly nineteen percent in 2007 to just over four percent. And in doing so, the voters of Ottawa West-Nepean served notice on the sad track record of the McGuinty government.

Our Party is gaining momentum right across this great province. I am confident our renewed strength will carry us to victory in this riding and many more in the 2011 general election. The future will be brighter. Give us your vote in 2011 and a Progressive Conservative government will rebuild our economy and set things right - Ontario can lead again!!
